Tax and National Insurance from outside of the UK? |
Tax and National Insurance from outside of the UK?Hi there,I think I need advice from an accountant, but thought I would start here firstly. I live in an Eastern European Country, Latvia. but occasionally come back to the UK to work as a self employed person. Also, I am not a resident of Latvia, so I presume I am still a resident of the UK, even though I do not have a fixed address in the UK? It?s all very confusing for me? When I am working in the UK I stay with my grown-up Children and the odd day now and again with close friends. I would like to know what my legal requirements are to the British Inland Revenue? Also, is there a simple w/site I can go to for information? I would also like to know can I claim for flights in and out of the UK and what is classed as earnings and profit? As I said before, it is all very confusing for me? Where do I start? Thanks for any advice given! :)  |
